Seth and I aren't the biggest movie buffs around, but last night we had a Batman marathon, fully equipped with a family size bag of peanut butter M&M's (that is now empty) and the most uncomfortable couch ever! I sat in the crack the entire time. It. was. cool. We watched Batman Begins and then The Dark Knight.... all in preparation for The Dark Knight Rises next weekend!
Have you seen it? Do you want to see it? Did you love it? Or not so much? Don't give anything away... but I'm curious to know what you thought. Can it possibly be as good as or better than the second one? Heath Ledger was just sooooooo good!
**What'd you do this weekend? Anything as cool as what we did? Ha!

I'm not a huge Batman fan but my husband is and he saw the new one and loved it.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I had a glamorous Saturday date night at the oh so chic outdoor world. He was looking for a hat to go hiking in. Sitting on the crack of a couch with m & m's sounds way better!

I am a HUGE movie buff and have not yet seen it due to me being in a forest up north camping..... BUT I want to see it Terribly and a friend of mine who has excellent taste in movies said it was epic. So..... That's the good news :)

That sounds awesome. I love doing marathons before going to a new movie...it kind of adds to the whole experience. We hardly EVER get a babysitter, so we haven't been to a movie together since probably the last Harry Potter came out. Yep. Can't wait to see this one, though. Probably when it comes out on redbox. Lol
ReplyDeleteWe saw it last week. I loved it. We need to see it again because we kept getting phone calls from the Dr's office which sort of defeated the purpose of trying to forget reality for three hours! I liked the second one better, but was NOT disappointed in the third one at all!
ReplyDeleteI haven't gotten to see it yet, we decided that seeing Batman would be our first date night when my husband gets back to the states, so we both skipped the release! Instead, my weekend involved driving 1500 miles in my packed honda civic with my mom, the dog, and no air conditioning!
ReplyDeleteand for his weekend, my husband went to visit the De-militarized zone in south korea. that trip sounded super interesting, but i can't say i wasn't nervous for him to be going there!
